I really love this. I’ve been crafting for a while but I’m just now starting out with nestabilities and this is one of the best tips/techniques I’ve seen on YouTube. Thank you so much for sharing.

Coolio.

Yes, there is a small cut in, it has to be to accommodate the thickness of the metal die. It’s not so noticeable though on most of the templates.

Hi there. Love your video and was so excited to try out this method. I used the Oval nestabilities but somehow when I cut out the image, on each side of the image that is sticking out, there is a deeper cut in…Sorry, i’m not sure if you can understand what i’m trying to say. Is that how it is when you do yours? ‘cos when you trace on the inside of the nestie and place it to cut the image, the image will be cut slightly higher up leaving the bit below it cut out. Does that make any sense?

I love this idea! I’m just learning the “nestabilities”…but had no idea you could get so creative! Thank you so much for sharing. Love “cutting” out of the box (so to speak)

WOW, you’re SO creative. AWESOME.
MORE MORE! :o )

Not sure why it wouldn’t work, maybe the shape you are using and the stamped image just don’t fit well together? for instance, this would be a lot harder doing a flower shape with it, because of the insets on the petals…..You can check my blog out, I do this technique quite often and have many card samples using this technique posted there!

I have tried this several times and its not working, this should be so simple but Im just not getting it to work out. Im not getting the total shape of the nestabilitiy

Hash4ever January 2, 2012 at 8:40 pm

Loved this video. You should do more. You have a great knack for this sort of thing.
Way to go. Keep it up.
