I really got my creative juices going with the Spellbinders Classic Paisley die this time! I betcha didn’t know you could make bears out of this Nestabilities die! Neither did I til I gave it a try!
Here is my first card:
I used the three smallest Paisley in the set for this guy, along with Stampin’ Up’s 1/2 circle punch DCWV Natural Solid Cardstock Mat Stack for the bear body, inking around the edges with Stampin’ Up’s Close to Cocoa ink pad, then lining with black pen. The paws, nose, lettering and background are from DCWV Natural Mat Stack. I used the same die size for the paws as for the legs, then cut them down. The lettering is Quickutz 4×8 Dragonfly Alphabet! To finish up I used small google eyes and a heart punch for the ears!
Here is a slightly different look, for the same teddy bear:
For this teddy bear, I used DCWV Linen Closet Mat Stack for the background and scalloped circles. The Scalloped Circles are cut with Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Circles Small. Add a little ribbon, and there you have it! This was a fun project!
OH! I almost forgot the best part! We have the Classic Paisley Nestabilities die on sale for only $12.49! So not only do you have some cute card ideas, you can get the die on sale! Don’t you LOVE it!
Have fun!
